He joined SolarPower Europe from the European Climate Foundation, where he was director of the energy programme for over a decade. Previously, he worked at Apple Inc., in the EMEA public affairs department. Dries holds a master's degree in contemporary history from the Catholic University of Brussels and Leuven, Belgium, and a post-graduate degree in international relations from the Karl-Rüprecht University in Heidelberg, Germany.

Wolfgang Ademmer, Alpitronic

Wolfgang Ademmer has been Chief Marketing Officer at Alpitronic since April 2023 and is an expert in electromobility and charging technology. He oversees the strategic direction and international marketing, including the megawatt charging system HYC1000, launched in February 2025. Passionate about e-mobility, Ademmer has worked in the field since 2017, advising companies on product development and sales. His career in power electronics began in 1991, including leadership roles at Infineon and as CEO of a Swiss semiconductor company. Alpitronic, a global leader in DC fast-charging stations, was founded in 2009 in Bolzano. Initially focused on high-tech power electronics for the automotive industry, it launched its first so-called Hypercharger in 2018. The company now has 1,000 employees, locations in northern Italy, Munich, and a U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Many years of experience and a broad network of practical experience guarantee sustainable advice in the planning, project management and implementation of sustainable energy projects. One focus is on the structuring and support of joint ventures between project developers, public utilities, property owners and municipalities. Dr. Brahms also advises on various projects in the areas of photovoltaics, biogas and wind energy. With nearly 15 years of experience in investment banking and advisory, Chris brings deep exper-tise in M&A and JV deal origination across a wide range of renewable energy technologies, includ-ing solar, wind and energy storage, as well as the power, infrastructure and utilities sectors. Before joining Apricum, Chris spent a decade in Hong Kong, where he held key roles at top in-vestment banking and consulting companies. Most recently, he served as vice president, business development - renewable energy, APAC at ORIX, Hong Kong, where he was responsible for deal origination and business development to increase ORIX's renewable energy investment portfolio. Dr. Laurie Burnham is a principal member of the technical staff and a photovoltaics researcher at Sandia National Laboratories, where she leads multiple multi-institutional and multi-year efforts to improve the long-term performance and reliability of our nation's solar sector. Her current projects include research on the short- and long-term impacts of wildfires, extreme weather events and electrical-system failures on PV power plants. In addition, she oversees the US DOE Regional Test Centers for Emerging Solar Technologies, which support cross-climate studies of new components and systems; chairs the Photovoltaic Collaborative to Advance Multi-climate Performance and Energy Research (PV CAMPER), a 12-member global organization; leads an International Energy Agency subtask on extreme weather and photovoltaics; and chairs Sandia's newly formed Solar Industry Advisory Board.

Jenny Chase is an analyst with BloombergNEF's global Solar Insight Service. She joined BNEF mid-2005 and launched the Solar Insight Service in early 2006, and ran the team from Bloomberg's Zurich office until late 2022. She then stepped down from management and continues to write about and analyze the solar industry as part of the team. Jenny is the author of a book, Solar Power Finance Without the Jargon, published by World Scientific Publishing with a second edition new in 2024. She holds a BA in Physical Sciences and an MSci in Physics from the University of Cambridge, England, and breeds West of England geese. Gianluca is a leading expert in tandem solar cell and module technologies, focusing on bridging fundamental research, upscaling, and application-driven innovation to serve diverse market needs. He has led advancements in this field and has formerly served as Program Manager of Photovoltaic Tandem Technology and Applications at TNO in the Netherlands, overseeing research, strategy, budgeting, and international collaborations.

Liam Coman is a solar research analyst within the Clean Energy Technology research team at S&P Global. He researches the global PV inverter market within the solar supply chain. He works with suppliers to analyse trends, produce market forecasts and assess the competitive landscape of the solar inverter industry. Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Coman worked for an engineering consultancy specialising in environmental regulation and policy compliance. Julia Hildermeier holds a doctorate in sociology from Humboldt University Berlin and Ecole Normale Superieure Cachan in Paris. Her academic work included identifying the path-rupture potential of environmental regulation in the European automotive and transport sector.
