You can learn everything there is to know about markets, technologies and financing for PV projects at the English-speaking Intersolar Europe Conference and its accompanying side events in Munich. May 6 will be dedicated to business models for renewable electricity producers, including green power purchase agreements (PPAs), which are increasingly popular green electricity supply contracts between producers and off-takers.
The conference will also feature a session on business models for private households and how prosumers can maximize the economic benefit of combined residential systems. What’s more, day one of the conference will also host sessions on regulatory developments for the energy storage industry and on the development of the European solar market. The market for the alternative land use concepts of floating PV and agricultural PV will also be discussed in detail. For the utility-scale segment, there will be a session on trends in the development, construction, operation and digitalization of large-scale PV plants. The smarter E AWARD ceremony will conclude the day.
On May 7, the second day of the conference, the sessions will focus on technical developments in photovoltaics, from off-grid applications and rural electrification to the power supply of large infrastructures. There will also be a session discussing the opportunities and options for European PV production. The second day of the conference will be putting special attention on the growing importance of hybrid power plants, which combine various renewable sources of energy such as solar, wind and hydropower with battery storage systems.
On May 8, pv magazine Focus will examine the latest topics that are relevant for high-quality photovoltaic and storage projects in the small and utility-scale segment. And at a side event of the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg, you can learn more about advanced test solutions for batteries and fuel cells.
